The invention relates to biotechnology, namely to a new strain of blue-green microalga, which can be used in the microbiological industry for producing glucides, used in the pharmaceutical industry, cosmetology, zootechny, phytotechny, etc.The strain of blue-green microalga Calothrix elenkinii Kossinsk. is deposited in the National Collection of Nonpathogenic Microorganisms under the number CNMN-CB-14 and can be used as a source of glucides.
