Abstract

The invention relates to biotechnology and may be used in the microbiological industry for astaxanthin obtaining.Summary of the invention consists in the fact that a new Haematococcus pluvialis Flotow strain was obtained, which can be used as an astaxanthin source. The strain is deposited with the Microorganism National Collection of the Microbiology Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Moldova under the number CNM-AV-05.The technical result of the invention consists in increasing the astaxanthin content into the algae biomass.
