Invenţia se referă la o substanţă biologic activă nouă din clasa glicozidelor steroidice care poate fi aplicată în agricultură, pentru sporirea productivităţii şi a calităţii fructelor de tomate.Se propune o glicozidă steroidică nouă din şirul colestanic 3-O-α-L-ramnopiranozil(1→4)-α-L-ramnopiranozil(1→4)-β-D-glucopiranozidă-(25R)-5α-colestan, 22-keto,3α,16β,26-triol-[26-O-β-D-glucopiranozidă] (rusticozidă G1) cu formula structurală:unde: Glc - glucoză, Rha - ramnozăîn calitate de compus ce sporeşte productivitatea şi calitatea fructelor de tomate.
