Abstract

The invention refers to a new biologically active substance from the furostan-type steroid glycosides class increasing the seed distant hybridization setting and can be applied in selection when crossing common winter wheat with rye for obtaining new triticale forms.A new furostan-type steroid glycoside 3-O-{[β-D-glucopyranosyl(1→2)- β-D-glucopyranosyl (1→4)]-[ β-D-glucopyranosyl(1→3)]- β-D-galactopyranoside}-(25R)-5α-furostan-3β,22α,26-triol-[26-O-β-D-glucopyranoside] is proposed with the structural formula:where Glc - glucose,Gal - galactose,increasing the seed distant hybridization setting.
