Abstract

The invention relates to the wine-making industry, namely to a process for neutralization of wine demetallization waste with potassium hexacyanoferrate(II).The process for neutralization of waste obtained as a result of wine demetallization with potassium hexacyanoferrate(II) includes the preliminary dilution of waste up to 2...10% of suspended matters, leaching thereof with sodium hydroxide at the pH value of 10,8...12,4, agitation, separation of the solid phase and washing thereof with water up to the negative reaction for ion ferrocyanide, separation of solid phase from the obtained foam product being carried out by electroflotation with introduction into the processed suspension of 3...5 mg/l of polyacrylamide, treatment of the liquid phase with a stoichiometric quantity of soluble copper salts, as well as separation of the obtained copper ferrocyanide sediment.The result consists in increasing the efficiency of ferrocyanide leaching from waste, diminishing the volume of works, simplifying the technology and reducing the reagent consumption for its realization.
