Abstract

The apricot sort (Armeniaca wilgaris Lam). Detskii is obtained by sowing the Alexander Rannii sort seeds obtained by open pollination, it is intended for fresh utilization and is zoned in the Republic of Moldova in the Central, South and South-West apricot growing zones.The trees are heavy-sized having a branchy crown. The crop capacity is high, at an 8-10 age it average 41 kg from a tree. Thee winter resistance of the blosson buds is high, the death per cent doesn't exceed 14. The desease resistance is high. The sort is autofertile. The fruits maturate on the 17-22nd of July, with 2-5 days later that the Red-cheeked sort. The fruits form is oblong - oval with a rounded top. The size is big, the mass is of 38-45 g. The basic color of the fruit is yellow, the integumentary one is inj the form of rose points. The pulp is orange, gristly, of a sweet and sharp harmonious taste with a pleasant aroma.The stone is medium, it can be easy removed from the pulp. The semen is sweet. The degustation value of the fresh and stewed fruits is 4,4 numbers, that of the pulpy juices - 4,3 numbers.
