Abstract
The apricot sort (Armeniaca vulgaris Lam.) with the denomination Raduga is obtained by sowing of the Huhgaria best sort seeds obtained by open pollination, zoned in the Republic of Moldova in the Central, South and South-West fruit- production zones. The tree is mediumsized having a brancly crown and is characterized by a high crop capacity.The averge crop capacity of the six yaer trees constitutes 46 kg. The winterresistance of blosson buds is medium, the disease resistance is high. The sort is autofertile and a late ripening term of the 24-30th of July, five days later than that of the Kostiujenskii sort.The fruits are rounded with a pressed in top, medium-sized and have a mass of 37 g.The basis colour is yellow the integmentary one is dark red. The pulp of the fruit is orange, gristly, having a hrmonious taste and a full-bodied aroma. The stone is small (4,7%), it can be easy removed from the pulp. The semen is sweet. The degustation value of the fresh fruits and stewed fruits constitutes 4,5 numbers, that of the pulpy juices - 4,5 numbers.
