Invenţia se referă la fotografia semiconductoare şi poate fi utilizată în holografie, multiplicarea informaţiei (holografică sau analogă), precum şi în metodele nedistructive de testare laser.Procedeul de înregistrare a informaţiei optice include iluminarea unei structuri în strat subţire de metal-semiconductor necristalin, de exemplu nichel-As2S3 şi aplicarea ulterioară a unui câmp electric.
