Abstract
The variety of pear-tree (Pirus communis L.) Noiabriskaia is obtained by crossing the varieties Triumf de Vienne x Krier, is destinated for the fresh fruit consumption, is cultivated in all the fruit-growing areas of the Republic of Moldova. This is a middle-grown tree, with a pyramidal crown and uniformly distributed fruits. The skeletal branches are directed at a small angle to the leader. The shoots are thick, light-brown. The fruits are big (150-170 g), the biggest reach 250-300 g, egg-shaped. The colour of the fruits in the perioud of ripeness is green in the perioud of consumption is light-yellow, on the sunny side there is a pink colour. the pulp is juicy, sour-sweet, oily, with a pleasant refreshing aroma. The fruit-gathering begins at the end of September, the consumption is extended from late November to early December. The fruit may be kept in the fridge up to April, preserving its gustatory qualities. The variety is compatible wits the quince-tree. The trees engraft upon guince-trees in the 5th year of vegetation and produce 5-10 kg of fruit of the best guality. The variety blossoms early and is self-fertilizing. The best pollinators are Socrovişce, Beurre Jiffard.
