Abstract

Сорт грецкого ореха (Iuglans regia L.) Каларашский получен индивидуальной селекцией из местных семенных популяций Каларашского района, предназначен для культивирования орехов во всех плодоводческих зонах Республики Молдова.Дерево сильнорослое с высокоокруглой кроной, средней густоты. Скелетные ветви мощные, длинные, хорошо сросшиеся с центральным проводником. Деревья цветут в средние сроки. Сорт протогеничный с крупными плодами от 15 до 19г, равномерные по величине, яйцевидные. Место соединения створок образует хорошо сросшиеся ребра. Скорлупа средней толщины, плотная, слабо-бороздчатая, блестящая, соломенно-желтого цвета. Ядро большое, маслянистое и составляет около 50% массы ореха, легко отделяется от скорлупы.
