Abstract

The invention relates to the semiconductor engineering, in particular to the semiconductor gas sensors. The semiconductor gas sensor contains a substrate, onto one of the surfaces of which there is applied a gas-sensitive layer, and onto the opposite surface - a heating element, at the same tine onto the gas-sensitive layer there are applied metal contacts. Novelty of the invention consists in that onto the surface of the gas-sensitive layer there is formed a region with structure in the form of nanoneedles. The region with the structure in the form of nanoneedles may have an annular form.
