Abstract
Purificarea cuprului se efectueaza prin electroliza solutiei de sulfat, ce contine 110...140 g/l ioni de cupru si are pH 2,5...4,2, la densitatea catodica a curentului de (10...16)*103 A/m2 si cea anodica de (2...8)*103 A/m2.The invention relates to the field of chemistry, in particular to electrochemical processes for obtaining pure iron or copper. The process, according to the invention, includes electrolysis of recirculated aqueous electrolyte solutions using periodic flow with adjustable return pulse over time, periodic scraping from the cathode of reduced metal particles and their transfer into a liquid organic phase composed of perchlorobutadiene or perchlorethylene, whose density it is larger than that of the electrolyte. ŇAlso as an electrolyte, the solutions obtained for the dissolution in hydrochloric or sulfuric acid of the respective metals in the form of waste from the metal processing industry or of reduced metal particles are used. The purification of iron is carried out by electrolysis of the chloride solution, which contains 120 ... 180 g / l iron ions and has a pH of 0.8 ... 2.4, at the cathodic density of the current of (34 ... 42) * 103 A / m2 and the anodic one of (5 ... 20) * 103 A / m2. The purification of copper is performed by electrolysis of the sulfate solution, which contains 110 ... 140 g / l copper ions and has a pH of 2.5 ... 4.2, at the cathodic current density of (10 ... 16) * 103 A / m2 and the anodic one of (2 ... 8) * 103 A / m2.
