Abstract

The invention relates to the experimental technique, in particular to devices for structural material testing at the reciprocating motion with and without lubricant.The friction machine contains, placed onto the base (1), a test piece fixation device (8), including a holder thereof, a mechanism for reciprocating movement (6), joined with it; a loading mechanism, including a column (3), freely placed into the hole of the guide bush (23), a load (5), fixed in the upper part of the column (3), and a holder of the counter-test piece (10), fixed in its lower part, as well as a frictional force meter (13). Novelty consists in that the friction machine includes two test piece fixation devices and correspondingly two loading mechanisms. Each of the test piece fixation mechanisms contains a bed frame (14), rigidly fixed onto the base (1), onto which by means of a joint of “dovetail” type there are mounted sleds (15) with trays (16) installed thereon, wherein the test piece (9) is fixed. The sleds (15) of both fixation devices, independently from each other, are joined with the mechanism for reciprocating movement (6) with the possibility of regulating the length of the double travels. Onto each counter-test piece holder (10) there are fixed strain gauges (11), joined with the frictional force meter (13). Onto each counter-test piece (9) in the zone of its contact with the test piece (8) there is fixed a thermocouple (20), joined with a temperature meter (21). Each of the trays (16) is additionally equipped with a heating element (17), joined with a temperature set-point device (18). The loading mechanism is additionally equipped with a guide rod (22), fixed into the guide bush (23) and placed parallel to the column (3), at the same time the free end thereof is placed into the hole of the bracket, fixed onto the column.
