Abstract
The invention relates to the furniture industry, in particular to the transformable upholstered furniture.The sofa-bed contains a rigid frame with legs, including a posterior wall, a brace, joining from the front the lateral walls, onto which there are fixed guides for the lateral rollers, a back, fixed from above to the posterior wall and to the lateral walls, forming in the position “sofa” a cavity for placement of the section for the head, a transformable part, containing the section for the head with elements joining it with the section for the seat, which is fixed onto the frame, and the section for feet, mounted onto a lever linkage mechanism, including a horizontal bearing link, rigidly fixed in the lower part of the section for feet and installed onto the frame thereof, which is telescopically joined with the frame of the section for seat, rollers, mounted onto the frame of the section for seat and contacting with the frame guides, and rollers, fixed into the frame of the section for feet, contacting with the guides in the frame of the section for seat, at the same time the rollers are made with flanges, as well as roller supports, installed in the lower part of the frames of the section for seat and of the section for feet. The lever linkage mechanism includes a smaller link, having one end articulately fixed onto the end of the horizontal bearing link from the end of the section for seat, the other end of which is articulately fixed onto the support, which is rigidly fixed to the frame of the section for feet, and a greater link, having one end articulately fixed onto the other end of the horizontal bearing link, the second end of which is articulately fixed onto the support, which is also rigidly fixed to the frame of the section for feet. The roller supports of the section for feet are mounted onto supports, rigidly fixed from below of the frame of the section for feet. Onto the ends of the frame guides and of the frame guides of the section for seat, in the place of marginal disposition of the rollers in the position “bed”, there are made keeper elements.
