Abstract

The invention refers to medicine, in particular to the pharmaceutical industry.Summary of the invention consists in that the process for obtaining of 5α-furostan-3β,22,26-triol-3-[O-β-D-glucopyranosyl(1→2)-β-D-glucopyranosyl(1→4) -β-D-galactopyranosyl]-26-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (pacoverine) includes treatment by boiling of tomato seeds in n-butanol, with subsequent evaporation thereof and washing of the obtained residue with a solution of chloroform and acetone, taken in the ratio of 1:1, filtration, afterwards the residue is repeatedly filter washed with acetone and dried.
