Abstract

The invention refers to the agricultural machinery industry, namely to the knapsack sprayers for plant chemical protection.The sprayer contains a reservoir of plastic material and a pump, vertically installed therein, including a cylinder, placed in the lower socket of the reservoir; a rod-piston, the lower end of which is placed into the cylinder, and the upper one - outside the reservoir and joined with the water cannon and the pump driving tie-rod. Into the cavity of the rod-piston there is placed an intake pipe, coupled with the hose water cannon, and a check valve, placed in the lower part thereof. The rod-piston is made compound and includes a rod and a piston, coaxially placed and rigidly coupled between them. The rod is made in the upper part of one piece having a spherical form and in the lower part it is coupled with the piston, the diameter of which is smaller than the diameter of the rod, with that the piston includes the open upper face and the closed lower face with the check valve, installed by means of a nut, fixing the packing seal of the piston. Onto the rod's wall, in the upper part, there is fixed an ear with an orifice for coupling with the tie-rod of the rod-piston lever drive and a choke joint of the intake pipe of the rod-piston and the hose of the water cannon.
