Abstract

The invention refers to compositions used for reducing the risk of documents unauthorized reproduction, in particular of banknotes.The marking composition comprises an organic material, wherein there are introduced photoluminescent components, of which at least one represents a substance visible by daylight. The marking composition comprises a component photoluminescent over one visible wave-length band at excitation thereof with the lamp of a photocopier and at least a second component, photoluminescent over a second wave-length band at excitation thereof with the lamp of the photocopier, the luminescence band of which differs at least partially from the first one. With that, the luminescence of at least one of the components possesses a sufficient intensity for detecting thereof by the photocopier sensors in view of different intensity perception, obtained when this component is exposed to daylight.
