Abstract
The invention relates to the shipbuilding, especially to the sail construction.The purpose of the invention consists in the sail aerodynamic characteristics increasing by the exclusion of prominent parts of masts and spars and giving oval form to the sail.On the mast (1) it is installed the sail (2) the windy edge of which copy the form of oval part having forming masts and spars (3), placed in broad streamlined pocket.The sail (2) is fixed on the mast (1) by means of upper (4) and lower (5) fixing nodes of lashing. It hinders from appearance of the inductive whirlwinds on the side of upper and lower saggings of the sail (2), since through inclined upper and lower parts of front sagging the air cannot flow on the windy side of sail (2) by reason huge dynamic pressure of attacked flow.
