Abstract
The invention relates to the method of preparation of the optically active benzilic spirit, especially (S) α-ciano-2-phenoxybenzilic spirit that can be utilized in the synthesis of pyretroides used in agriculture.The purpose of the invention is elaboration of the method of preparation of new benzilic spirit on the base of which the prepared pyrotroides possess high activity.The method is realized by interaction of (R,S) α-ciano-2-phenoxybenzilic spirit with lactone cis-2,2-dimethyl-3S-(dioxymethyl) cyclopropane-1R-carbonic acid at the temperature of 60-80°C in vacuum in the presence para-toluensulfoacid with further separation of para-toluensulfoacid by chromatography from obtained mixture of the isomers (1R, 5S) 6,6-dimethyl-4(R,S)-ciano(32-phenyloxyphenyl)methoxy3-oxabicyclo (3,1,0) gexan-2-on that is undergone hydrolysis at the boiling in the presence of para-toluensulfoacid.
