Abstract

The invention relates to the production of alcohol, namely an installation for the production of dehydrated ethyl alcohol.The installation includes, connected by a system of pipelines, a column (2) for the concentration of alcohol with 45 plates, fitted with a distillation cube (1), a dephlegmator (3), a refrigerator (4) and a reservoir (5) for the rectified ethyl alcohol, as well as a dewatering column (7) with 52 plates, fitted with a distillation cube (6), a dephlegmator (8) and a refrigerator (10); at the same time the installation includes a sealed reservoir for the dehydrated ethyl alcohol (13), a reservoir for the dehydrating agent (9), counters for feeding of alcohol, dehydrating agent and dehydrated alcohol (15a, 15b, 15c), pumps (14, 16), as well as a device for the regeneration of dehydrating agent consisting of an apparatus for vacuum distillation (11) and a condenser (12). As dehydrating agent is used 1,2-propylene glycol.
