Invenţia se referă la medicină, în special la chirurgia plastică, şi este destinată acoperirii unor defecte de părţi moi de lungime mare.Autotransplantul propus este format dintr-un lambou musculocutan conţinând muşchiul mare dorsal şi un lambou tubular dermograsos toracoabdominal, autotransplantul combinat având o bază comună constituită din porţiunea distală a tegumentului supraiacent muşchiului mare dorsal şi un pedicul vascular unic constituit din artera şi vena toracodorsale.
