Abstract

Prezenta invenţie se referă la un procedeu de sinteză industrială a compusului cu formula (I):caracterizat prin aceea că în reacţie se introduce 7-metoxi-naftalen-2-ol cu formula (II):Această materie primă prezintă avantajul că poate fi obţinută în cantităţi mari cu cheltuieli mai mici. 7-Metoxi-naftalen-2-ol posedă, de asemenea, avantajul că are în structura sa un sistem ciclic de naftalină, care permite evitarea unei etape de aromatizare în sinteză. Procedeul propus asigură obţinerea agomelatinei într-un mod reproductibil şi fără a fi necesară efectuarea unei purificări, cu o puritate care este compatibilă cu utilizarea sa în calitate de ingredient farmaceutic activ.
