Invenţia se referă la sticla calco-sodică de culoare verde pentru ambalaj alimentar ce absoarbe radiaţia ultravioletă şi permeabilă pentru lumina vizibilă.Sticla conţine, în % mas.: SiO2 - 50,00…82,50; Al2O3 - 0,0001…4,00; CaO - 3,00…25,00; Na2O - 12,00…25,00; Fe2O3 - 2,50…10,00; impurităţi - ≤5,00, totodată raportul Fe(II)/Fe(II)+Fe(III) constituie 0,05…0,25.Rezultatul constă în absorbţia selectivă a radiaţiei ultraviolete de ionii de fier cu valenţă mixtă.
