Abstract

The invention relates to agriculture, in particular to fruit growing, namely to a process for forming the crown of cherry trees. The process for forming cherry trees in the form of an improved thin spindle comprises pruning the trees in the spring in the first year after planting at 100-110 cm from the ground; when the shoots reach a length of 20-30 cm, 5-6 developed side shoots are selected to form a zone of semi-scaffold branches and a vertical shoot for the central axis, in the spring of the second year, the extension branch of the central axis is cut 100-110 cm above the base of the last semi-scaffold branch, when the shoots on the axis reach a length of 3-5 cm, they are weeded 80-90 cm above the last semi-scaffold branch, then fruiting and semi-scaffold branches are formed on the axis, which are replaced periodically. The technical result of the invention consists in improving the lighting conditions, ensuring an increase in the size and quality of fruits, and in creating optimal conditions for caring for trees.
