Abstract

The invention refers to wine-making industry, namely, to neutralization of insoluble waste obtained at wine material demetallization with potassium ferrocyanide(II). The process includes predilution and alkalinous treatment of waste with calcium hydroxide simultaneously with mixing of the mixture. The novelty consists in, that before the alkalinous waste treatment into the calcium hydroxide it is additionally introduced a catholyte, obtained during the diaphragm cell of 5...10% sodium chloride, alkalizing the pH mixture up to 8...9,5, thereafter for waste neutralization an anolyte with active chlorine, obtained by the same cell, is introduced thereto. The result consists in full destruction of the cyanide compounds in both the waste and filtrate.Claims: 3
