Abstract

The invention relates to means for locking with sealing of material objects transported, especially, by way of customs, with the view of preventing the unauthorized access to them, in particular of refrigerators, vans, cisterns, cars and containers of the railway, sea and air transport, of cargoes transported in railway cars and containers, trucks etc. The seal with polymer optical fibers comprises a transparent body with cylindrical cavity, bottom and holes on the lateral surface for a flexible sealing element, a core with holes on the lateral surface of the body. The core is installed into the body with the possibility of rotation and is equipped with ratchets contacting with longitudinal ribs made on the inner surface of the body. On the outer frontal surface of the core it is placed a rotary hand knob. Into the body it is also placed a hollow disk with bottom, closed with a plate for informative data, the surface of which is covered which a transparent protective layer of plastic material. The flexible element is made of polymer optical fibers or steel rope twisted with polymer optical fibers.
