Abstract
The invention relates to educational devices and can be used in conducting laboratory works in educational institutions in the study of electrochemistry.The device for demonstrating the influence of the type of anode material on electric energy consumption during electrolysis comprises a panel (1), on which are placed four electrolytic cells (2, 5, 8, 11), each containing one cathode (4, 7, 10, 13), made of iron, and one anode (3, 6, 9, 12), a voltmeter (14), a constant-current source (17), the input of which is connected to the first contact of a switch (15), and the output to the input of a resistor (16), the output of which is connected to the cathode (13), the second contact of the switch (15) is connected to the anode (3), and the cathodes (4, 7, 10) are connected respectively to the anodes (6, 9, 12), at the same time the anode (3) is made of graphite, anode (6) of copper, anode (9) of iron and anode (12) of zinc.
