Abstract
The invention relates to agriculture, in particular to horticulture and can be used to determine the keeping capacity of pear fruits during the storage period.The method for assessing the keeping capacity of pear fruits consists in taking fruit samples by selecting mesocarp portions with a weight of 1 g, which are immersed in test tubes with 10 ml of deionized water heated to 25°C and stirred for 3 hours, is determined the electrical conductivity of the aqueous medium of samples every 30 minutes for 3 hours with the help of a conductometer, at the same time the higher the electrical conductivity of the aqueous medium the lower the keeping capacity of fruits.
