Abstract

The invention relates to agriculture, in particular to a process for rearing insects used for biological plant protection.The process, according to the invention, provides for the rearing of Trichogramma spp. entomophage on owl eggs: Mamestra brassicae L., Agrotis exclamationis L., Amathes c-nigrum L., Agrotis ipsilon Huf., Agrotis segetum Schiff., Helicoverpa armigera Hb. at the age of 24…26 hours, previously irradiated for 50…60 minutes by a lamp of a power of 200 W with ultraviolet rays with a wavelength of 365 nm and a frequency of 789 THz, at the same time the rearing is carried out at a temperature of 23…25°C and a relative humidity of 75…85%.
