Abstract

<pre>The innovation describes a continuous, serial process to produce a versatile bio-activated water-soluble powder extract from argan (Argania spinosa L. Skeel) industry waste. This process involves the use of basic water as the carrier agent for the polyphenols, followed by neutralization with an organic acid and filtration to obtain a highly antioxidant liquid extract. Then, the liquid extract is dehydrated using spray technology to obtain a water-soluble powder. The applications of this extract are varied, ranging from cosmetics to nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals. This innovation makes it possible to obtain a high quality extract without alteration or chemical transformation of the bioactive compounds.</pre>
