Abstract
Un explosif (10) renforçateur d'amorçage comprend un corps (12) de cartouche à l'intérieur duquel est disposé un puits (20) de capsule dans lequel est disposé un détonateur (24). Un manchon de protection (28) entoure le puits (20) de capsule à l'exception de la partie du puits de capsule, la partie active (20d), qui renferme la section terminale explosive (24a) du détonateur (24). Le manchon de protection sert à atténuer la force des ondes de choc provenant des explosions antérieures proches agissant sur le détonateur (24). Un espace d'air (32) annulaire peut être disposé entre le manchon de protection (28) et le puits (20) de capsule pour atténuer davantage la force de telles ondes de choc. L'atténuation des ondes de choc réduit la probabilité d'endommagement des détonateurs (24) par des explosions voisines antérieures.
