Abstract

On propose un système de stockage d’énergie gravitaire à air comprimé qui repose sur une combinaison de deux types de stockage à savoir le stockage par gravité et le stockage par air comprimé. Le système est constitué d’un récipient d’eau lié à une structure cylindrique dans lequel est placé un lourd piston, une pompe-turbine réversible qui permet de pomper l’eau, lever le piston et ainsi stocker l’énergie sous forme potentielle gravitationnelle, et un compresseur d’air lié à un récipient à pression pour stocker l’énergie dans l’air comprimé lors du levé du piston. Ce système permet d’augmenter la capacité de stockage d’énergie du système de stockage gravitationnelle existant.
