Abstract
Le présent document concerne un procédé de codage en couches d'une trame d'un ambisonics d'ordre supérieur compressé, hoa, représentant un son ou un champ sonore. La représentation hoa comprimée comprend une pluralité de signaux de transport. Le procédé consiste à affecter la pluralité de signaux de transport à une pluralité de couches hiérarchiques, la pluralité de couches comprenant une couche de base et une ou plusieurs couches d'amélioration hiérarchiques, générant, pour chaque couche, une charge utile d'extension hoa respective comprenant des informations latérales destinées à améliorer de manière paramétrique représentation hoa reconstruite pouvant être obtenue à partir des signaux de transport attribués à la couche respective et à toute couche inférieure à la couche respective, attribution des charges utiles d'extension hoa générées à leurs couches respectives et signalisation des charges utiles d'extension hoa générées dans un train de bits de sortie. Le présent document concerne en outre un procédé de décodage d'une trame d'une représentation hoa compressée d'un son ou d'un champ sonore, un codeur et un décodeur pour le codage en couches d'une représentation hoa compressée, ainsi qu'une structure de données représentant une trame d'une représentation hoa compressée. D'un son ou d'un champ sonore.
