Abstract

L’objet de l’invention est une facette d’héliostat de type en sandwich présentant une rigidité élevée, conçue de sorte que les variations de la qualité optique et de la courbure de celle-ci, dues à l’influence des conditions de fonctionnement, soient réduites au minimum par rapport à d’autres facettes connues. La facette de l’invention est, de préférence, formée de deux couches de miroir externes, fixées à une mousse de polymère ayant une formulation et une conception spécifiques, qui est déposée en phase de crème sur l’une desdites couches de miroir. Plus préférablement, la conception de la géométrie des différentes couches est configurée de sorte qu’un équilibre soit obtenu entre les contraintes et déformations internes de la facette, générées par les écarts de température dus aux conditions de fonctionnement, et particulièrement le gradient thermique existant entre les faces dans des conditions de fonctionnement, de manière à maximiser l’inertie mécanique de la facette afin d’améliorer la rigidité de celle-ci.
