Abstract

L'invention concerne des procédés, des dispositifs et des programmes informatiques permettant d'émettre et de recevoir des messages de découverte et de radiomessagerie dans un dispositif de communication sans fil. Dans un aspect, un appareil sans fil pouvant fonctionner dans un système de communication sans fil comprend un moteur de découverte configuré pour communiquer avec un réseau sans fil en fonction d'un profil, ce profil présentant des paramètres d'utilisation définis, le moteur de découverte étant configuré pour recevoir une entrée d'une application indiquant une sélection de profil, le moteur de découverte étant également configuré pour recevoir au moins un attribut de l'application et configurer le profil au moyen dudit attribut au moins, ces attributs contenant des informations permettant de configurer le profil pour mettre en oeuvre certaines fonctions, tel que défini par l'application.
