Abstract

Selon l'invention, des artéfacts de bloc au niveau d'une limite de bloc (1) entre un bloc (10) et un bloc voisin (20) dans une image vidéo sont réduits par calcul d'un décalage sur la base de valeurs de pixel de pixels (11, 13) présents dans une ligne (12) de pixels (11, 13, 15, 17) dans le bloc (10) et sur la base de valeurs de pixel de pixels (21, 23) présents dans une ligne correspondante (22) de pixels (21, 23, 25, 27) dans le bloc voisin (20). Le décalage est additionné à la valeur de pixel du pixel (11) le plus proche de la limite de bloc (1) dans la ligne (12) de pixels (11, 13, 15, 17) et est soustrait de la valeur de pixel du pixel (21) le plus proche de la limite de bloc (1) dans la ligne correspondante (22) de pixels (21, 23, 25, 27). Le filtre de déblocage résultant possède de bonnes caractéristiques passe-bas et est efficace pour réduire des artéfacts de bloc.
