Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant de marquer des articles fabriqués. Le procédé consiste à fournir une clé cryptographique, dans un état inactif, à un point d'une chaîne d'approvisionnement pour les articles fabriqués, fournir la clé cryptographique, dans un état actif, et un code d'activation pour activer la clé cryptographique, à un centre de vérification, et fournir le code d'activation au point de la chaîne d'approvisionnement en réponse au point de la chaîne d'approvisionnement transmettant des informations relatives à la clé cryptographique reçue. Le code d'activation permet d'activer la clé cryptographique dans l'état inactif pour former la clé cryptographique dans l'état actif. Le procédé consiste également à générer, au niveau du point de la chaîne d'approvisionnement, un code d'identification (ID) pour chaque article fabriqué. Le code ID est dérivé de la clé cryptographique dans l'état actif et d'une clé dynamique générée pour chaque lot d'articles fabriqués. Le procédé consiste également à fournir la clé dynamique pour chaque lot d'articles fabriqués au centre de vérification, marquer chaque article fabriqué avec le code ID, et compter le nombre réel ou correct de codes ID marqués sur les articles fabriqués. Le procédé et l'appareil peuvent servir à la vérification fiscale (pour les biens soumis aux impôts), à la vérification du volume de production et à l'authentification.
