Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé pour générer de l'énergie au moyen de cycles thermiques à vapeur de pression élevée et température modérée. Ledit procédé permet d'améliorer le rendement énergétique et fonctionnel de la conversion d'énergie calorifique en énergie mécanique ou électrique, au moyen de cycles thermiques dans lesquels la température de la vapeur est limitée à des valeurs modérées lors de sa génération. Le procédé comprend les étapes suivantes: a) génération de vapeur à une pression supérieure à 65 bars, et à une température modérée inférieure à 400°c, b) dilatation de ladite vapeur dans une turbine à vapeur, ce qui permet d'obtenir une vapeur de pression intermédiaire, comprise entre 10 et 40 bars, présentant une humidité modérée, inférieure à 15%, c) séchage de ladite vapeur au moyen d'un séparateur d'humidité, et réchauffage de ladite vapeur, d) dilatation de ladite vapeur dans la turbine, et e) chauffage d'eau de chaudières utilisée pour générer la vapeur, au moyen d'une pluralité d'extractions de vapeur de la turbine, pour l'échange de chaleur avec ladite eau de chaudières.
