Abstract

The invention relates to a material that can be used in the manufacture of air-permeable anti-insect clothing, its elements or blankets.The proposed material comprises at least two layers: the first and the second layer, which are formed from a material that is unpierceable and unbiteable through by insect jaws or a thorn, wherein said first layer comprises interconnected (preferably in a chess-board order) convexo-concave surface segments with spaces between them, and the second layer contains interconnected surface segments with spaces between them. In addition, the surface segments of the first layer with their convex sides are outwardly directed. The surface segments in each layer are interconnected so as to permit air movement between them, and the surface segments of the second layer are arranged offset so as to cover the spaces between the surface segments of the first layer; wherein the first and the second layers are interconnected so as to permit air movement between the layers preventing the access of the insect body parts to the surface protected by the material.
