Abstract

The invention mainly relates to the field of treatment of the municipal wastewater. Sewage sludge and sediment obtained in the process of purification of natural waters are the specific bulky waste, and its utilization is hampered by the presence of the environmentally dangerous contaminated substances in the composition presented mainly by heavy metals, persistent organic pollutants (POP), pathogens etc. The purpose of the present invention is development of the method for dramatic reduction of the power consumption in the course of the technological process. To achieve the objective, the technological process includes the pulser - an hot airflow feeder providing the required adjustible intervals of said pulses. Pulsing air mass dislodges water molecules from the dried material which then without conversion into steam are taken away by the air flow from the drying chamber. There is no need to convert all water from the dried material into steam, and this fact results in significant decrease in energy consumption. The above-mentioned technical solution allows to speed up the process of dehydration and decrease power consumption approximately by 30%.
