Abstract
Izgudrojums attiecas uz šķiedru optiku, konkrēti - uz optisko signālu pārraidi caur optiskās šķiedras galu ortogonāli tās simetrijas asij, un tas var tikt izmantots apgaismes tehnikā, fototerapijā, endoskopijā, lāzeru ķirurģijā, optiskajā tomogrāfijā, optisko aparātu būvē un citās nozarēs. Piedāvāta sāniski izstarojoša/uztveroša optiskā šķiedra ar slīpi pret šķiedras asi orientētu gala pilnās iekšējās atstarošanas robežvirsmu un asij paralēlu starojuma izvada/ievada plakni, kas atšķiras ar to, ka atstarojošā virsma un izvada/ievada plakne ir optiski monolīti integrētas šķiedras serdeņa galā, aizpildot telpu iepretī atstarojošai virsmai starp izvada/ievada plakni un cilindrisko serdeņa sānu virsmu ar šķiedras serdeņa materiālu vai tam līdzīgu optiski caurspīdīgu materiālu, pie kam izvada/ievada plaknes attālums no šķiedras ass ir vienāds ar vai lielāks par šķiedras ārējo rādiusu.
