Abstract

A reinforcing formed body (1) for a panel-type building element cmprises two flat bars (2, 3) of equal width at a distance apart, to which lateral strips are welded at right angles. Parts projecting above the flat bars (2, 3) on either side of the reinforcing formed body allow two formwork panels (7, 10) to be arranged at a distance (a) apart. Two temporary formwork panels (7) of the reinforcing formed body (1) are put together to form a wall formwork element which is secured by fastening elements. The distance (a) ensures that the flat bars (2, 3) are encased in concrete. Fasteners in the form of screws (14) are screwed into the longitudinal bars (2, 3) from the exterior. When used as a ceiling formwork element, the reinforcing formed body (1) is provided with additional reinforcing bars and fastened only to a lower-side formwork panel (7).
