The adjustable gel cutting instrument can cut gel according to the size of a needed gel block and directly obtain the gel block with the specific length, thereby improving the cutting precision; besides, the adjustable gel cutting instrument can directly take away the cut gel block from a cutting table, and human hands do not need to directly come into contact with the toxic gel, thereby avoiding pollution and achieving safety and reliability

BACKGROUND
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of machines, and in particular to a cutting tool for cutting agarose gel or polyacrylamide gel.
Related Art
Gel electrophoresis is widely applied to separation of biomolecules of a target organism in the technical field of organisms, and when the biomolecules are separated from gel, especially when target DNA bands are extracted, the target biomolecules are obtained to perform subsequent analysis. In a gel electrophoresis process, macromolecules migrate to form bands, and the migration distance of each band during electrophoresis is decided by the sizes, types and charges of the biomolecules of the corresponding band. The gel is cut along a band, thereby obtaining the needed gel. Currently, when a gel electrophoresis target band is cut and extracted, most of the labs use the normal medical scalpel to cut and extract the gel, which has the following disadvantages: the needed gel is obtained by four cuts, so that operations are complex, location is imprecise, cutting time is long, and efficiency is low; the cutting time is longer, and the damage to nucleic acid in the gel caused by an ultraviolet lamp applied to gel cutting is greater, thereby influencing the next reaction; moreover, long-time ultraviolet irradiation also seriously hurts the body of a gel cutting labor. At present, although some gel cutting tools appear on the market, but such gel cutting tools generally have complex structures, and cannot take away the target DNA band from the cutting table, they need to use an auxiliary tool to pick the cut band away from the cutting table, and if multiple bands need to be cut from one electrophoresis path, the ultraviolet irradiation time of the DNA is prolonged, and messiness is easy to occur.
Summary
In view of disadvantages in the prior art, an objective of the present invention is to provide an adjustable gel cutting instrument, which achieves precise and quick cutting on agarose gel or polyacrylamide gel.
In order to achieve the objective described above, a technical scheme adopted by the present invention is as follows: the adjustable gel cutting instrument comprises a handle and a cutting head, and the handle is fixedly connected with the cutting head; a transmission mechanism is arranged in the handle, and adjustment buttons are arranged on the surface of the handle; the cutting head is composed of four blade slots, the four blade slots form a rectangle, and one blade slot vertically close to one side of the handle is connected with the transmission mechanism in the handle; and cutting blades are vertically clamped in the blade slots when the cutting edges of the cutting blades are downward.
An obliquely upward angle of the handle fixedly connected with the cutting head is 30-45 degrees.
Tiny bulges are arranged on one side surface of each cutting blade.
The transmission mechanism in the handle comprises a battery, a motor, a turbine and a worm.
Compared with the prior art, the advantages and beneficial effects of the adjustable gel cutting instrument provided by the present invention are as follows: by manipulating the adjustment buttons on the handle, the adjustment of the cutting blades is achieved, so that a specific targeted gel block can be directly obtained by cutting a gel band according to the needed length of the gel band, the gel band is not cut too much or too less, multiple cutting is avoided, the cutting precision is improved, a targeted segment is relatively more easily obtained, and the precision of subsequent analysis is improved; besides, due to the tiny bulges that are arranged on the surface of the cutting blades and the transmission mechanism that is arranged in the handle, a problem that the cutting tool cannot insert into the thin, soft and smooth polyacrylamide gel is solved, the cut gel block can be directly taken away from the cutting table, and human hands do not need to directly come into contact with the toxic gel, thereby avoiding pollution and achieving safety and reliability.

As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, an adjustable gel cutting instrument provided by the present invention comprises a handle 1 and a cutting head 3, and the handle 1 is fixedly connected with the cutting head 3; a transmission mechanism is arranged in the handle 1, and adjustment buttons 2 are arranged on the surface of the handle 1 ; the cutting head 3 is composed of four blade slots 4, the four blade slots 4 form a rectangle, and one blade slot 4 vertically close to one side of the handle 1 is connected with the transmission mechanism in the handle 1; and cutting blades are vertically clamped in the blade slots 4 when the cutting edges of the cutting blades are downward.
Furthermore, an obliquely upward angle of the handle 1 fixedly connected with the cutting head 3 is 30-45 degrees.

In use, the operation process of the adjustable gel cutting instrument provided by the present invention is as follows: as shown in FIG. 3, firstly vertically clamping the cutting blades in the blade slots 4 while ensuring that the cutting edges of the cutting blades are downward and the tiny bulges 5 on the cutting blades face to the inner side of the rectangle; enabling the handle 1 along the length direction of a gel band 6, operating the adjustment buttons 2 on the handle 1, and after the cutting blades meet requirements, pressing the handle 1 downwards, thereby directly obtaining a gel block with the specified length; at this point, adjusting the adjustment buttons 2 on the handle 1, enabling the cutting blades to press the cut gel block tightly, and lifting up the handle, thereby directly taking the cut gel block away from a cutting table under the action of the pressure and the friction force of the tiny bugles 5 on the cutting blades; and then adjusting the adjustment buttons 2 again, and increasing the distance among the cutting blades, thereby easily separating the cut gel block from the cutting instrument.
The obliquely upward handle 1 can be convenient to forcibly cut gel downwards, and can prevent hands from coming into contact with the gel.
The adjustable gel cutting instrument provided by the present invention has the advantages: the structure is simple; precise and quick cutting of agarose gel and polyacrylamide gel can be achieved, the cutting precision is improved, a targeted segment is more easily obtained, and the precision of subsequent analysis is improved; besides, the cut gel block can be directly taken away from the cutting table, and human hands do not need to directly come into contact with the toxic gel, thereby avoiding pollution and achieving safety and reliability.
