LOWER LIMB FRACTURE REDUCTION DEVICE
The present invention relates to the technical field of medical devices, particularly to a lower limb fracture reduction device.
Lower limb fractures represent one of the most common types of fractures, requiring prompt and precise reduction and fixation to facilitate proper healing. To improve the accuracy and efficiency of fracture reduction, orthopedic lower limb fracture reduction devices have been developed. These devices are specifically designed to assist surgeons in performing fracture reduction procedures by providing stable support and precise adjustments, enabling accurate realignment and immobilization of the injured area.
When treating tibial fractures requiring intramedullary nailing, the patient's knee must be flexed at a specific angle after reduction to facilitate nail insertion. Existing lower limb fracture reduction devices compatible with this approach typically consist of a base and an adjustable support plate that can be rotated to position the lower leg at the desired angle. However, during surgery, frequent adjustments to the support plate angle are often necessary. As the knee flexion angle changes with plate adjustments, the position of the lower leg also shifts, requiring compensatory repositioning of the entire reduction device.
This process is cumbersome and reduces surgical efficiency.
LU601595
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a lower limb fracture reduction device aimed at addressing or improving at least one of the aforementioned technical issues.
To achieve the above objective, the present invention provides the following solution:
The invention provides a lower limb fracture reduction device comprising:
A support platform equipped with a pair of guide rails.
A reduction base slidably arranged between the pair of guide rails.
A drive mechanism mounted on the support platform, configured to drive the reduction base to slide along the support platform.
A reduction plate, with one end rotatably connected to the reduction base via a pair of transmission shafts and a pair of first bearing seats. The transmission shafts are fixedly connected to a first gear, which meshes with a second gear. The second gear is rotatably connected to the first bearing seat and meshes with a rack. The pair of racks are respectively fixed to the pair of guide rails.
Optionally, the drive mechanism includes:
A motor fixedly installed on the support platform.
A screw rod connected to the output end of the motor, engaged with a sliding nut that is fixed to the reduction base.
Optionally, both sidewalls of the reduction base are rotatably connected to rollers at each end, and the rollers slidably engage with the guide rails.
Optionally, the reduction plate is provided with multiple straps.
Optionally, one end of the reduction plate is equipped with a footrest.
Optionally, the footrest is connected to the reduction plate via an electric push rod.
Optionally, one end of the screw rod away from the motor is rotatably connected to a second bearing seat, which is fixed to the support platform.
Optionally, the screw rod is symmetrically flanked by guide rods fixed to the support platform. The guide rods slidably engage with guide rings, and the guide rings are fixed to the reduction base.
Optionally, the reduction plate is covered with a soft cushion.
Optionally, the bottom surface of the support platform is provided with an anti-slip pad.
The present invention discloses the following technical effects: By securing the patient's lower leg to the reduction plate, when adjusting the tilt angle of the reduction 01995 plate during surgery, the drive mechanism drives the reduction base to slide along the support platform. This causes the first and second gears on both sides of the reduction plate to engage with the racks on the guide rails, transmitting motion. As a result, the first gear rotates, driving the transmission shafts to rotate synchronously, which in turn causes the reduction plate to pivot and adjust its angle. This achieves a synchronized linkage between the translation of the reduction base and the angular adjustment of the reduction plate, effectively reducing operational complexity. The device better accommodates changes in the lower leg position when the patient's knee flexion angle is adjusted, thereby improving the efficiency of fracture surgery.

It is evident that the described embodiments represent only a portion of the invention's embodiments rather than all of them. Based on the embodiments of the present invention, all other embodiments obtained by those of ordinary skill in the art without creative efforts shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
To make the above objectives, features, and advantages of the present invention more comprehensible, the following provides a further detailed explanation of the 091595 invention with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific implementations.
Referring to Figures 1-3, the present invention provides a lower limb fracture reduction device, comprising: a support platform 1, equipped with a pair of guide rails 2; a reduction base 3, slidably arranged between the pair of guide rails 2; a drive mechanism, mounted on the support platform 1, configured to drive the reduction base 3 to slide along the support platform 1; a reduction plate 4, with one end rotatably connected to the reduction base 3 via a pair of transmission shafts 5 and a pair of first bearing seats 6. The transmission shafts 5 are fixedly connected to a first gear 7, which meshes with a second gear 19. The second gear 19 is rotatably connected to the first bearing seat 6 and meshes with a rack 8. The pair of racks 8 are respectively fixed to the pair of guide rails 2.
By securing the patient's lower leg to the reduction plate 4, when adjusting the tilt angle of the reduction plate 4 during surgery, the drive mechanism drives the reduction base 3 to slide along the support platform 1. This causes the first gear 7 and second gear 19 on both sides of the reduction plate 4 to engage with the racks 8 on the guide rails 2, transmitting motion. As a result, the first gear 7 rotates, driving the transmission shafts 5 to rotate synchronously, which in turn causes the reduction plate 4 to pivot and adjust its angle. This achieves a synchronized linkage between the translation of the reduction base 3 and the angular adjustment of the reduction plate 4, effectively reducing operational complexity. The device better accommodates changes in the lower leg position when the patient's knee flexion angle is adjusted, thereby improving the efficiency of fracture surgery.
When the angle between the reduction plate 4 and the reduction base 3 needs to be reduced, the reduction base 3 is driven to move away from the patient's upper limb. The second gear 19 engages with the rack 8 to rotate, driving the first gear 7 to rotate accordingly. This causes the transmission shaft 5 to rotate in a direction that lowers the angle of the reduction plate 4. Conversely, when the angle between the reduction plate 4 and the reduction base 3 needs to be increased, the reduction base 3 is driven to move toward the patient's upper limb.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the drive mechanism comprises: a motor 9, fixedly installed on the support platform 1; 7601595 a screw rod 10, connected to the output end of the motor 9, engaged with a sliding nut 11 that is fixed to the reduction base 3.
The motor 9 drives the screw rod 10, which in turn drives the reduction base 3 to translate through its engagement with the sliding nut 11. The transmission mechanism of the screw rod 10 and sliding nut 11 enables precise displacement adjustment with strong adaptability.
In one embodiment of the present invention, both sidewalls of the reduction base 3 are rotatably connected to rollers 12 at each end. The rollers 12 slidably engage with the guide rails 2. The four rollers 12 improve the sliding efficiency and stability between the reduction base 3 and the pair of guide rails 2 while providing guiding and limiting effects for the screw rod 10 and sliding nut 11.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the reduction plate 4 is provided with multiple straps 13 for securing the patient's lower leg.
In one embodiment of the present invention, one end of the reduction plate 4 is equipped with a footrest 14 for supporting the patient's foot.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the footrest 14 is connected to the reduction plate 4 via an electric push rod 15. The extension and retraction of the electric push rod 15 allow adaptive adjustment of the footrest 14's position, improving adaptability.
In one embodiment of the present invention, one end of the screw rod 10 away from the motor 9 is rotatably connected to a second bearing seat 16, which is fixed to the support platform 1. The second bearing seat 16 further enhances the stability and strength of the screw rod 10 on the support platform 1.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the screw rod 10 is symmetrically flanked by guide rods 17 fixed to the support platform 1. The guide rods 17 slidably engage with guide rings 18, which are fixed to the reduction base 3. The guide rods 17 and guide rings 18 further enhance the guiding and limiting effects on the sliding nut 11, effectively reducing torsional forces on the rollers 12.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the reduction plate 4 is covered with a soft cushion to improve patient comfort. The soft cushion is preferably made of cotton or rubber.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the bottom surface of the support platform 1 is provided with an anti-slip pad to enhance stability. The anti-slip pad preferably features anti-slip patterns and is made of rubber.
