Abstract

The present invention relates to the field of high-pressure water jet rust removal and discloses a pre-mixed abrasive straight-swirling integrated jet rust removal apparatus. A water pump draws water from a water source, the water is mixed with a solid abrasive fully in a mixing cavity, a pressure is regulated to the pressure needed by work, a solid-liquid mixed straight jet flows through a spray head and passes through a center hole and an impeller groove of an impeller part, the form of the jet is turned to a straight-swirling mixed state and the jet is sprayed out through a front nozzle of the spray head, and the jet is diffused by a diffusing section to start rust removal work. The apparatus utilizes pure water and the abrasive to obtain the advantages of being clean and pollution-free while removing rust efficiently.

APPARATUS FIELD OF TECHNOLOGY
[0001] The present invention belongs to the field of rust removal equipment and relates to a pre-mixed abrasive straight-swirling integrated jet rust removal nozzle which is primarily used for cleaning rust on an outer surface of steel.
BACKGROUND
[0002] As one of common materials in a modern economic society, the number of scrapped steel due to rusting accounts for about 25-40% of its annual output, which leads to a huge direct economical loss consequently. Rusting of steel is a weak link for steel. By taking mechanical engineering manufacturing as an example, surface rust removal pre-treatment of steel during machining and manufacturing will affect the corrosion resistance of steel directly. At present, common domestic surface rust removal methods substantially include chemical rust removal, shot blasting rust removal and mechanical rust removal. The three surface rust removal methods have some problems such as high working strength, severe environment and environmental pollution.
[0003] In order to solve the above mentioned problems better, a pre-mixed abrasive straight-swirling integrated jet rust removal apparatus is designed.
SUMMARY
[0004] Aiming at defects in the prior art, the present invention aims to provide a pre-mixed abrasive straight-swirling integrated jet rust removal apparatus. The apparatus has the advantages of being clean, pollution-free to environment and suitable for rust removal work in most environments. Compared with common domestic rust removal methods, the present invention is highly efficient in rust removal capacity.
[0005] In order to achieve the purpose, the present invention adopts a technical scheme as follows:
[0006] The present invention relates to provide a pre-mixed abrasive straight-swirling integrated jet rust removal apparatus which is primarily comprised of a pressure source, an abrasive feeding system, a water-abrasive mixing cavity and a working system. LUS00T10
[0007] The pressure source is primarily comprised of a water source, an impurity filter, a water pump, a pressure regulating valve, a pressure gage and a safety valve.
[0008] The abrasive feeding system is primarily comprised of an abrasive tank, a top cover and a pressure relief valve. The abrasive is 60-mesh quartz sand.
[0009] The working system is primarily comprised of a spray head, a nozzle and a numerically-controlled rotary table. Parameters of the nozzle part are as follows: a diameter of a center hole of the nozzle can be 0.8-1.2 mm, a number of impeller grooves is 3-6, dip angles of the impeller grooves are 30-60 degrees, a cavity convergence angle of the straight-swirling mixed cavity is 120-150 degrees, a diameter of the front nozzle is 1.5-2 mm and a divergence angle is 60- 90 degrees.

DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS
[0027] In order to make technical means, creative features, objectives to achieve and efficacies implemented by the present invention be easily understood, clear and intact description will be made on the present invention below in combination with specific embodiments and drawings.
[0028] Fig. 1 to Fig. 5 are structural schematic diagrams of the pre-mixed abrasive straight- swirling integrated jet rust removal apparatus and the spray head. The working principle of the apparatus is as follows:
[0029] After connecting a power supply and examining that the working apparatus is errorless, the apparatus is started. Water is drawn from the working water source 1 via the water pump 3, pure water passes through the filter 2 and a working pressure of the water pump is displayed via the pressure gage 4. An abrasive in an abrasive tank is mixed with the pure water by means of a pressure, and the abrasive stop valve 7 prevents excessive abrasives from being mixed to control the concentration. Finally, the pressure is regulated to a pressure needed by work via the pressure regulating valve 10, and the water is fully and uniformly mixed in the water-abrasive mixing cavity 9 and is sprayed out via the spray head 8 to start rust removal work.
[0030] In a structure of the nozzle body 2a, the nozzle body is a middle through ring body in appearance, and the internal thread 3a is arranged at a left inlet; the step section I 3b and the step section II 3c are arranged on the right side of the internal thread 3a; the mixing cavity 3d is arranged in the right side of the step section II 3c; the right side of the mixing cavity 3d is connected to the front nozzle 3e; and the external thread 3d is arranged on the outer circumference of the rightmost side of the nozzle body 2a and is connected to the internal thread 5b in the expansion section 2c.

[0033] When the nozzle is used, it is needed to place the impeller 4a in a position of the step section II 3c in the figure 3 according to the structure of the figure 2. The external thread 3d on the right side of the nozzle body 2a is matched with the internal thread Sb of the expansion section 2, which has the advantages that the expansion section with different divergence angles (60-90 degrees) can be selected as needed while the expansion section and the nozzle body are divided into two members which are conveniently manufactured and processed; in addition, the front nozzle 3f is further protected in the presence of the expansion section. The internal thread 3a on the left side of the nozzle body 2a is matched with the spray head 8 of a worktable in installation.
[0034] When the spray head 8 works, the pure water and the 60-mesh quartz sand abrasive are fully mixed before entering the nozzle body 2a and enter the left inlet of the nozzle body 2a due to the action of a pressure difference, and then the pure water and the abrasive are divided into two portions to pass through the impeller 2b by passing through the impeller 2b located at the step section II 3c, one part of the pure water and the abrasive passes through the impeller 2b, and the partis a straight jet; the other part passes through the impeller groove 4a. As the impeller groove 4a and the axis of the impeller 2b form a certain dip angle, the part is a swirling jet. The straight jet and the swirling jet are mixed in the mixing cavity 3e and enter the expansion section 2¢ by passing through the front nozzle 3f, and at the time, the jet has spatial three-dimensional velocities respectively: axial velocity, radial velocity and circular velocity. The working range of the jet is a round area which is increased along with increase of a range, such that a round area can be removed from a rust removal workpiece. The straight jet in the axis direction is centralized in energy and is large impact force; from the axis position to the circumferential direction, the radial and circular velocities of the swirling jet are increased gradually, and the axial velocity is attenuated. Energy of the mixed jet will be reduced as the range is increased, and the working area will be increased. When rust removal work is carried out, different ranges can be selected according to a final effect of the rust workpiece needed to be cleaned to determine the round working surface of 0110 the jet, such that the rust removal efficiency can be improved effectively.

1. A pre-mixed abrasive straight-swirling integrated jet rust removal apparatus, primarily comprising a water source (1), a filter (2), a nozzle body (2a), an impeller (2b), an expansion section (2c), a water pump (3), an external thread (3a) of the nozzle body, a step section I (3b), a step section II (3c), an external thread (3d), a mixing cavity (3e), a front nozzle (3f), a pressure gage (4), an impeller groove (4a), an impeller center hole (4b), a safety valve (5), an internal thread (5a) of the expansion section, an external thread (5b) of the expansion section, an abrasive tank (6), an abrasive stop valve (7), a straight-swirling mixed spray head (8), a water-abrasive mixing cavity (9) and a pressure regulating valve (10), wherein the pure water in the water source (1) and the abrasive enter the straight-swirling mixed spray head (8) of a worktable after being fully mixed and pressurized in the water-abrasive mixing cavity (9).
2. The pre-mixed abrasive straight-swirling integrated jet rust removal apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the water pump (3) is a diaphragm pump with a rated pressure of 40 MPa and a rated flow of 14 L/min, a diameter of a nozzle center hole of a straight-swirling mixed impeller (2b) in a part of the straight-swirling mixed spray head (8) is 0.8-1.2 mm, a number of the impeller grooves (4a) is 3-6, a dip angle of the impeller grooves (4a) is 30-60 degrees, a cavity convergence angle of a straight-swirling mixing cavity (3e) is 120-150 degrees, a diameter of the front nozzle (3f) is 1.5-2 mm and a divergence angle is 60-90 degrees.

The pre-mixed abrasive straight-swirling integrated jet rust removal apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the water and the abrasive enter the straight-swirling mixed impeller (2b) of the spray head (7) after being mixed in the mixing cavity (9), and a liquid-solid mixed straight jet becomes a straight-swirling mixed jet after passing through a straight-swirling mixed center hole (4b) and straight-swirling mixed impeller grooves (4a).
4. The pre-mixed abrasive straight-swirling integrated jet rust removal apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the straight-swirling mixed spray head (8) is comprised of a nozzle body (2a), a straight-swirling mixed impeller (2b) and an expansion section (2c).
