Description

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING A PLURALITY OF SERVICEPROVIDERS BASED ON ISSUES RECEIVED FROM A USER OVER NETWORK
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present invention relates to an integrated platform for service providers and users,in particular to system and method to provide a plurality of service providers based on the oneor more issues received from a user over a network.
BACKGROUND
[0002] Background description includes information that may be useful in understanding thepresent invention. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior artor relevant to the presently claimed invention, or that any publication specifically orimplicitly referenced is prior art.
[0003] Enquiring from friends and colleagues, conducting internet searches, using listingservices such as the yellow pages are the current methods commonly used by consumers tosearch for service providers. These methods are prone to exerted efforts by the consumer, createlittle in promoting a competitive pricing environment and often offer the consumer a trial anderror service expectation outcome. Consumers spend a lot of time and effort enquiring for thebest price offers from multiple service providers. As a result, service providers spend a greatdeal of time and money commuting to the consumers premises to conduct an evaluation of theproblem or service requested. When consumers do find a service provider to fulfil their servicerequest, it is a common occurrence that the consumers will take a day or a few hours off workto wait for the service provider to come to their premises to conduct an evaluation of the servicerequest. The problem is further exacerbated when the consumer seeking service requests theservice provider to make a price offer. This back and forth service enquiry and service deliveryprocess between the consumer and service provider is extremely inefficient, results in anincrease of service delivery costs and is detrimental to the environment as result of high carbonemissions generated from the vehicles used in the service delivery process. The environmentalimpact that results from the multiple vehicle journeys that service providers have to make toprovide service to a consumer are substantial and do not aid in the global pledged efforts toreduce greenhouse gas emissions in accordance to targets set by international environment protection agencies.
[0004] Further, the users who need the services of professional service providers facechallenges to find suitable service providers who are most qualified to perform the work and iswilling to perform it at competitive charges within an agreed period of time. For example, auser who needs the service of an electrician must actively seek out expertise and informationregarding their professional certifications, experience, ability to provide the specific serviceswhich are required and the charges they will charge to perform the services. Another exampleis consumers who are in the need of device repair, home renovation, ironing or other services.
[0005] In view of the increasing on-demand services and growth of the gig economy, there isa dire need for a system and method for automatically capturing the issues using a mobilecomputing device which can be further automatically matched with a suitable service providerwho can resolve/offer service of the captured issue effectively. Further, there is also a needfor a system and method to automatically identify one or more items and suggest or matchthe user to the most suitable or preferred service providers and suppliers who may resolvethe related issues or supply the requested product. In addition, the system can also learn fromprevious service requests and automatically suggest or choose a suitable service provider orsupplier who successfully provided the service or product.

[0073] Machine Learning and Al Process: The present systems and methods lie in the fields ofindustrial and domestic service requests and fee-for-service. The present disclosure relates to amobile app, web portal and use of on demand cloud based platforms to quickly and efficientlyprocess service requests. The emergence of powerful machine learning tools and artificialintelligence [Al] technologies offered by on demand cloud computing service providers havesignificantly reduced SMEs operating costs incurred by hiring highly skilled professionals ,software and server hardware required to develop machine learning and artificial intelligencesolutions. Machine learning tools and artificial intelligence [AI]APIs offered by on demandcloud platforms enables SMEs to tap into high-quality vision, speech, language, and knowledgetechnologies developed with decades of on demand cloud platforms research to build intelligentapps. The investments required for this type of research would not be financially feasible to a majority of SMEs. Videos pose a unique challenge to automated content recognition, particularly for use in a complex, large-scale, real-time application. Not only are deep learningalgorithms difficult to implement and use, but processing large video files and large output filescan require a lot of computing power. On demand cloud platforms offer a wealth of tools andservices that makes so many of those challenges so much easier to solve and cost effective.
[0074] The following architecture illustrates how the present invention uses on demand cloudtools and services to process videos through content recognition and to build usable datasets. The process starts as the system ingests new customer service request videos. A message issent to an on demand cloud platform queue for pending media recognition. This queue acts asa buffer to manage the throughput to the on demand cloud platform multimedia recognitionAPI. (multi-media: photos, videos, sounds, text or a combination of all 4 mentioned formats). The next step is triggered by an event configured on a fixed-rate schedule to process the SQSqueue (distributed message queuing service offered by the on demand cloud service provider)and start the Process Recognition step function. This step function then coordinates several ondemand cloud Lambda functions to manage the subsequent image and video recognitionrequests and dataprocessing. In the process Step Function, the customer service request videosare processed through the multiple on demand cloud platforms multimedia recognition APIoperations. This step function has the following states: 1. Start Recognition of customer request videos - A Lambda function that starts and tracks themultimedia recognition job. 2. Await Recognition of customer request videos - A wait state that sleeps for a certain amountof time to let the multimedia recognition processes complete. 3. Update Recognition Status of customer request video - A Lambda function that monitorsfor the notification that the asynchronous recognition tasks are completed. Then it signals tothe step function when it can continue. 4. Check recognition of customer request video is complete - A choice state that looks at theprevious steps and decides whether to retry the wait, whether the recognition of the customerrequest video has failed, or whether to continue. 5. Process Recognition Response - A Lambda function that processes the response data fromall requested jobs for a video into datasets suitable for processing the customer’s servicerequest.
The Lambda functions for customer service request video recognition processing rely on threemain on-demand cloud processing services: • Multimedia Recognition - This is used to start, retrieve status, and retrieve results fromindividual recognition jobs. • Server Storage - Video files and raw recognition output are stored on the on demandcloud service provider’s servers. • Relational Database - video requests and associated data are stored in a MySQL RDSinstance.
[0075] Further, the present system automatically identifies various devices or products.Thereafter the present system uses the identified information to automatically identify thesuitable service providers who can able to offer repair or maintenance services for that deviceor product. For example, if the user records a problem about a broken light bulb, the presentsystem is able to identify that the faulty device is a light bulb and automatically limits theservice providers listing or search results to only show electricians instead of plumbers.
[0076] Furthermore, the present system automatically identifies various models of devicesor products. Using this information, it automatically identifies suitable service providers whocan able to offer repair or maintenance services for that device or product. Additionally, the present system learns the models of the various devices that the user has previouslyrequested for repair/maintenance services. The data concerning models of various devicesis collected from but not limited to data requests from users requesting service, serviceproviders service delivery reports, service provider invoices and etc. Using this information, the present system automatically informs the user about the device upgrade options orprovides the user with alerts about service schedules as per the device manufacturer'srequirements. The present system automatically filters out illicit content and flags the user tothe customer support team for further verification to prevent misuse of the present system. Incase any user captures a part of his/her body and tries to upload, then the present system canautomatically determine the object and decides not to upload this type of content.
