Abstract
There are disclosed tetrahydroisoquinolinylcarbamates of 1,2,3,3a,8,8a-hexahydro-1,3a,8-trimethylpyrrolo[2,3-b]indole of formula (I), where R is hydrogen or loweralkyl; and X is hydrogen, loweralkyl, halogen, loweralkoxy or hydroxy, which compounds being useful for alleviating memory dysfunctions characterized by a cholinergic deficit.
