Abstract

The invention relates to controlling mechanical platforms, which allow to direct video camera to desirable direction or stabilize its position. For reducing vibrations which are related to a servo motor, two servomotors are provided for ach pivot ofplatform. Said servomotors in idle position form a load in opposite directions.

Description

Išradimas yra susijęs su videokamerų stovais, kurie įgalina filmavimo metu keisti kameros padėtį servomechanizmu. The invention relates to camcorder stands, which enable the camera to be rotated by a servomechanism during filming.

Recently, camcorder mounts, which allow the camera to change direction, are often used not only for reversing but also for active stabilization when the camera is mounted on a movable base. An example of mounting a camera on a moving platform with servomechanisms for stabilization is disclosed in U.S. Patent Application 20090207250. The camera position is controlled by electronic sensors. Most camcorder models equipped with this feature have actuators that are responsive enough to maintain the visual motion of the horizon line in the frame. The servo actuator must frequently change direction of rotation to stabilize the oscillating chamber. As a result of servomechanism, the camera is subjected to low-amplitude shocks. Even if you succeed in eliminating frame jitter with digital video processing, the sharpness of the image still deteriorates, especially when shooting in low light and with longer exposure times. The amplitude of unwanted vibrations is related to the following factors: total slack of the actuator gearbox, total looseness of the support joints, insufficient structural stiffness, delay of the servomechanism response to the position sensor signal. Another common drawback is camera shake, which is enhanced by servomechanism. Because the mass of the camcorder is considerable, it does not stop at the intended point under inertia. The servomechanism returns the camera to its predetermined position, which causes increasing vibration.

The object of the invention is to reduce the unwanted fluctuations of the camcorder when using a servo drive. The problem is solved by installing two actuators for each axis of rotation. The servo actuators operate synchronously as the camera turns, but in the neutral position they carry a small load in opposite directions. This results in offsetting transmission transmission and avoiding shocks when changing direction of rotation. It also reduces the delay in response to the control signal.

Fig. 1 yra pateiktas dvigubos servopavaros įrengimo vienoje sukimosi ašyje pavyzdys. Pozicijos: 1 - platformos su videokamera sukimosi ašis (arba viena iš sukimosi ašių); 2, 3 - servopavaros.FIG. 1 shows an example of mounting a double servo actuator on one axis of rotation. Positions: 1 - rotation axis (or one of the rotation axes) of the camcorder platform; 2, 3 - Servo actuators.

Naudojant servopavaras, taikomas standartinėse distancinio valdymo sistemose, jos yra modifikuojamos, siekiant užtikrinti sukimąsi be nuokrypių apribojimo. The servo actuators used in standard remote control systems are modified to provide rotation without limitation. The neutral position of the actuators is set with a slight deviation from the neutral value of the proportional control signal, but in the opposite direction. After this adjustment, the two actuators are connected to a single control channel.

The required response of the servomechanisms is determined by the test path and depends on the mass of the chamber, balancing and rotation speed. Communication between the actuators and the platform with the camcorder can be supported by gears, belts, ropes, or pull. It is permissible to install the double servo actuator in one housing. Instead of the camcorder, other devices, such as a laser module, can be controlled.
