Abstract

Invention applies to the public electricity supply. The proposed new diagram and starting method of the electric generator allows the use of a low-power capacity electric motor, this way, saving expensive fuel and oils and at the same time securing the environment against pollutants. The proposed diagram of the electric generator includes the use of an alternating-current motor as an exciting motor and the connection of the exciting motor to the generator through a reduction gear. Besides, to the generator can be attached the second alternating-current motor, which through the second reduction gear may be connected to the second electric generator, one feeder of which through a knife switch is connected to the first alternating-current motor. To start the generator there can be used an additional energy source connecting it to the alternating-current motor or to the reduction gear coupling, directly to the electric generator itself.
