본 발명은 YUV포맷용 PIP회로에 양호하게 적용될 수 있는 텔레비젼 수상기의 부신호 화이트밸런스 조정장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 부화면 TV수상기의 화이트밸런스 조정장치는 크게 부화면에 대한 복합영상신호를 처리하여 YUV신호를 만들고, 상기 YUV신호를 PIP처리하여 된 원색신호를 주화면에 대한 원색신호와 합성하여 주화면 및 부화면을 발생시키는 부화면 TV 수상기에 있어서, 상기 U신호 및 V신호의 페데스탈 구간을 소정의 직류레벨로 클림프하는 수단 및 상기 클림프된 페데스탈 구간을 제외한 신호구간의 직류레벨을 임의로 증감시키는 수단을 구비한 것을 특징으로 한다.The present invention relates to a sub-signal white balance adjusting device for a television receiver which can be suitably applied to a PIP circuit for YUV format.
